What I Read Today;

2 Timothy 1; John 12; Hosea 6; Psalm 19; 2 Kings 20; Genesis 22

Hosea 6 offers us a glimpse into the heart of our God.  The nation had fallen away from God.  They were now living so far from God that it appeared that God would wipe them out.

Yet Hosea says there is hope.

There is hope in the never-ending mercy of our God.  There is hope because of the unfathomable love of God.

God desires that we turn back to him.  Every time we fail.  Those moments of weakness.  Those times when we don’t know what to do.  God’s desire is for us to turn back to him.  In those moments when we do fail, God will be there to pick up the pieces.  He will put us back together and give us hope.

That’s what our God does.  That’s who our God is.
