What I Read Today:

Colossians 4; Luke 21; Daniel 3; Psalm 4; 2 Kings 5; Genesis 7

Noah is entering into the Ark.  The storm around him is raging.  There’s nothing he can do about the storm.  So he does the only thing he can.  He crawls into God’s area of protection listens as God shuts the door and he hunkers down. He waits for the storm to come to an end.

We go through some pretty horrific storms in our lives.  We will go through many Physical, Financial, Spiritual, and Personnel issues as we go through life.  Many of them we will have no control over.  All we will be able to do is climb into God’s arms and ride the storm out.

Have you gone through a storm like this recently?  Are you going through one now?  Crawl into God’s arms and let him close the door behind you.  Trust that God is in control and will get you through to the next phase of your life.

  1. Funny thing is that when you crawl into God’s arms the storms don’t seem like a big deal and once safe you look back and wonder why you were so worried…
Someone once asked me if I could testify to a time when everything was against me. I couldn’t think of a single time. If God is with me, who could be against me?
