What I Read Today;
Ephesians 3; Luke 10; Ezekiel 40; Ecclesiastes 10; 1 Kings 16
As I was reading Luke 10:25-37, I wondered, do we genuinely care about our neighbor?
I think it’s a fair question. I think COVID-19 has brought out how many people feel.
We cherry-pick our data to support our particular point of view, and then trash whoever disagrees with us. If you ask if another person cares about the people around you, you become a jerk.
Some hide behind the cloaks of religion and freedom. They claim that their rights trump the needs of others. It doesn’t matter if someone might get sick. It doesn’t matter if someone might get hurt.
When our rights and freedoms become more important than the health and welfare of someone around us, can we honestly say that we love our neighbor?
I don’t think so.
