What I Read Today;
Hebrews 3; Acts 1; Isaiah 65-66; Psalm 90; Joshua 9-10
Psalm 90 tells us how we should view our lives. When we are younger, we think we will live forever. We believe we are invincible. As we grow older, we realize how frail we genuinely are. With each passing year, we witness friends passing away, and people we care about struggling with health issues. The struggles of life slowly wear us down.
That’s why Psalm 90 tells us to “count our days.” To focus our time on this earth on our spiritual home. To focus on God. Psalm 90 is telling us to lean on God for our strength. In this Psalm, we are being directed to our heavenly father and our heavenly home.
The older I get, the more I realize that I don’t have all life’s answers. That’s why I lean more on God’s grace today than I ever have.
