What I Read Today;

Philippians 1; Luke 14; Isaiah 25; Psalm 58; Numbers 13-15

I love Paul’s prayer in Philippians 1:9-11.

And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight to help you to determine what is best, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless, having produced the harvest of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.” NRSV

What an image of how the holy spirit leads us to the love of Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit isn’t done after he leads us to Jesus.  It continues in our lives.  It overflows to others.  It spills out and affects others around us.

The Holy Spirit will work in our lives to produce fruit as we grow in God’s grace.  The more we focus on God’s word, the more we live a life of prayer, and the more we worship God, the more the spirit will build on our growth to produce fruit.

May your life be full of the Love of Jesus as you continue growing in his grace!

  1. Your post reminds me that “Fruit just happens when our priorities are right.” 🙂

    John 15:5 English Standard Version (ESV)

    5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
