What I Read Today;
Revelation 1-2; Acts 19-20; Jeremiah 40-41; Psalm 66; 1 Kings 2-3; Leviticus 11
The Holy Spirit is moving throughout Ephesus. An outward movement of the Holy Spirit is happening. Some of the members of the Jewish Community decide to jump in without really believing.
It is here that we see that Satan completely understood what is going on. Those who are faking it, find out quickly that this is not something you want to play at as Satan’s Demon beats them to a bloody pulp.
It’s easy to get caught up in the detail of the beating. But the really fantastic thing that happens comes next.
The Holy Spirit causes many to leave their lives of sin so entirely that they burn their magic books and turn to Christ. This movement of the Holy Spirit is incredible. 50,000 people come to Christ and produce evidence that their lives are now different.
Today we have people come into our churches, maybe we baptize them, sometimes they give an affirmation of faith. But do we see evidence of the Holy Spirit in their lives? Do we see evidence of faith in our lives?
If God lives in us, do others see it? I know I need to work on this in my own life very much!
