What I read today;

1 John 1-2; Acts 11-12; Jeremiah 32-33; Psalm 62; 2 Samuel 18-19; Leviticus 7

Psalm 62 vs. 5-7, “For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.  On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah” NRSV

Somedays all you can hold onto is your faith.  You struggle and fight your way through the world but at the end of the day, you have nothing left but the clothes you wear and the faith you hold onto.

Psalm 62 speaks of those days and encourages us to rest in the loving arms of our savior.  Rest in his promise that he is in control and that he will be the guiding force behind every day of our lives.
