What I read today;
Revelation 4-5; Acts 9-10; Haggai 1-2; Proverbs 22; Ecclesiastes 12; Deuteronomy 25
Acts 9 is the famous “Road to Damascus” moment in the Apostle Paul’s life. The moment when God intervened directly into his life and changed the trajectory of life for Paul. One minute he’s persecuting Christians the next he’s preaching the Gospel.
God’s call is different and personnel for each of us. For just as many Paul’s and Moses’s, there are just as many Peter’s and John’s. The call is different. For some, the call takes years. For others, it happens in the blink of an eye.
Each one of us must answer God’s call in his or her own way. God is working on many of us. For me, the struggle is whether or not to go into a more formal ministry. It’s been on my heart for a while now. For others, it may be to volunteer more or to read the Bible more. However, Christ is working in you take the opportunity that Jesus is providing you and run with it. Open your heart and mind to the calling Jesus has for each and every one of you.
For those like me struggling to determine a path, continue to pray for God’s guidance. It will come in God’s own time.
