What I read today;
Exodus 20; 2 Kings 1-2; Psalm 64; Isaiah 64; Acts 2; Hebrews 3-4
Do you feel that God cannot forgive you? Or maybe you think that some people don’t deserve God’s grace. We will never see perfection this side of heaven. We won’t see it until either Jesus returns or we go to meet him. Because this world we live in is imperfect and we human beings are imperfect there will be fights with others, there will be disagreements, hurt, pain and suffering.
That’s our world today. But God is never far away.
When we start to believe that the grace of God isn’t for us, or that other groups of people don’t deserve his grace and mercy read these words;
Hebrews 4 vs. 14-16, “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Jesus came for all sinners. He stepped out of heaven for each and every one of us. No matter who we are or where we are. That includes you, me and every man, woman and child. Instead of focusing on rules and regulations and keeping records of lifestyles and sins, let’s focus on the grace that cost our savior so dearly on the cross.
