What I read today;
Exodus 9; 1 Kings 1-2; Psalm 53; Isaiah 53; John 12; 1 Thessalonians 3-4
Psalm 53 starts off with this statement, “The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
It’s hard for me to relate to that statement. Think about it for a minute. You can’t see God. He’s not showing up in visions around us. He hasn’t come out of the sky and stood on a mountaintop lately.
But you can definitely see him if your looking.
I see him in the majestic mountains of the west. I see him in the daughters God has given me. I see him in the blessing of a wife who loves me. I see him in the compassion of people willing to serve the homeless. I see him in the soldiers willingly defending our nation. I see him working in the doctors fighting to save lives. I see him working in the Pastors preaching sermons on Sunday morning. I see him in the compassion of people working with migrants coming to the border. I see him in the aid workers who volunteer to head to disaster areas around the world.
Where do you see him today?
