What I read today;

Genesis 43; 1 Samuel 24-25; Psalm 37; Isaiah 37; Luke 20; 2 Corinthians 5

So many things tug away at our lives.  Our families, our jobs, our church, our friends, our bills and so much more.  We’re busier than ever and have more toys than ever, but our lives are incomplete.

When we focus on things rather than Jesus, we become overwhelmed with stress and anger.

But when we focus on Jesus and all he’s done for us, then we see the world for what it indeed is.  A transition place for us while we wait for Jesus to return and take us home.

2 Corinthians 5 vs. 14-15 – “For the love of Christ controls us because we have concluded this: that one has died for all. Therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.”ESV
