What I read today:
Genesis 20; Judges 3-4; Psalm 14; Isaiah 14; Matthew 27-28; Romans 14
We’re in the final days of this year’s College and Professional Football Seasons. One of the hallmarks of championship teams is the idea that each player is playing for the good of the team, not himself. Long gone are the teams that couldn’t come together as a unit.
The military teaches it’s elite teams to put the mission and the team first. That’s how they are successful.
In Romans 14 vs. 7-9 Paul talks about our Christian Life. As a Christian, we are to live our lives for Jesus. We are to see ourselves as ones who are promoting the mission of the Gospel. Our goal is to proclaim the name of Jesus loudly and clearly to people who are hurting throughout the world.
Our goal is to show the world the Love of God in Jesus Christ!
