What I read today
Ezra 6; Job 22; Micah 2; Acts 6; 1 Peter 4-5
1 Peter 4 vs 1-3, “Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same intention (for whoever has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin), so as to live for the rest of your earthly life no longer by human desires but by the will of God. You have already spent enough time in doing what the Gentiles like to do, living in licentiousness, passions, drunkenness, revels, carousing, and lawless idolatry.”
If we live focused on what God wants us to do how much would that change the world around us? What if we focused more on helping those in need instead of demanding what we want? How about we focus on solving our problems instead of envying others because of what they have? Maybe instead of worrying about how others chose to live there lives, we should focus on how we live ours?
Would the world change if we did that?
