What I read today
Exodus 27-28; Psalm 39; Isaiah 39; Mark 11; 2 Corinthians 7
What do we put our hope in?
Psalm 39 vs. 7 says “And now, O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.”
Some days things feel like nothing is going my way. Last week was one of those weeks. Tough work week, wife went to be with her family, the kids are in Colorado living their lives. It sure was way too quiet in the house.
Found out that my company was selling our portion of the business. Had to deal with a short staff at work. Yep, things at work were just peachy.
Sometimes I wonder why things are the way they are. There always seems to be some struggle taking place. There never seems to be a period of peace and quiet.
Sometimes all you can do is thank God that he’s in charge. That he’s going to handle the problems and issues of life. Sometimes all you can do is say, God, “My hope is in you.”
