What I read today

Exodus 13-14; Psalm 32; Isaiah 32; Mark 4; 1 Corinthians 16

Psalm 32 verse 1 and 2 say; “Happy are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sin is covered.  Happy are those to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.”

The sins of David are recorded in the Bible for all to see.  He knew he was a sinful person.  He knew and understood his relationship with God.  David got it.  He needed a savior.

Yet he understood that we could find joy in the fact that our sins are forgiven.  We can find joy in the fact that Jesus blood covered all our sins.

We can rest easy knowing that Jesus paid the debt for each and every one of our sins.  We can put the past behind us and continue pushing forward until we reach our goal of being reunited with Jesus in heaven.
